I woke this morning feeling slightly perculiar and in a short moment of horror realised somthing was missing from my trunk that i had had since birth. But to my relief i noticed that my first 2 leaves had died and fallen to the floor. A sign that i am atlaast a real, grown up tree. If only 6 inches tall.

Woah, it's been cold in Manchester this weekend. Lots of snow, but non of it seems to stick.
My weekend was largely unproductive, i felt a bit ill yesterday, maybe it was the weather, but feel fine now. I slept like a log last night (that wasn't ment to be a joke).

It snowed an awful lot in manchester today, so i didn't get upto much. I'm really pleased with how well my roots are spreading though, i've got a great hold and it meens i can put more of my efforts on my leaves, which are already pretty big!

Up to leaf number eleven now (see picture)! I'm much stronger now than i think i've ever appreciated, my roots have fanned out well and i'm happy now i'm firmly established. My leaves are growing absolutely huge and my trunk is starting to turn brown - i imagine i'll be getting bark soon!

Leaf number nine! Wahey! Number ten is nearly out too.
It's really windy today in Manchester, not had much rain though, which is a good thing. It's been so damp that the ground around me had gotten all fluffy with mold, it was getting a bit disgusting. Got it sorted now though.

Can't believe i've been a few days without posting, been with friends and away from my computer.
The 8th leaf has gone nearly as massive as the 7th and the 9th (yes 9th!) leaf is shooting up too, so i barely recognise my own reflection today! Can't believe how much growing i've been doing.
Think i'll have a quiet day today, had a massive sleep last night and still don't feel like doing much today. Lazy sunday...
